Ranks

The following are the titles granted by achieving a certain rank in an organisation.

For ease of transcription, Rank 1 is 'Affiliate', Rank 2 is 'Respected' and Rank 3 is 'Influence'.

Generally speaking, there can only ever be one Rank 4 member of an organisation, and this can never be an active (i.e. unretired) PC.

There are other honorific titles (such as Warden) which exist outside of this structure, but which are usually 'equivalent' to a certain rank. (Warden is equivalent to Rank 3, for example).

A Good Citizen shows due deference to someone who outranks them.

Rank 1: Aspirant

Rank 2: Devout

Rank 3: Chosen

Rank 4: Grandmaster

Rank 1: Commissioner

Rank 2: Grand Commissioner

Rank 3: Master Commissioner

Rank 4: Mystikos

Rank 1: Chevalier

Rank 2: Katepon

Rank 3: Exarch

Rank 4: (Unspoken of)

Rank 1: Actuary

Rank 2: Corrector

Rank 3: Logothete

Rank 4: Kaiser

Rank 1: Apprentice

Rank 2: Councillor-Apprentice (to a particular Magister)

Rank 3: Magister

Rank 4: Grand Magister

Rank 1: Thief (to a particular Laird)

Rank 2: Thief Laird (to a particular Tyrant)

Rank 3: Tyrant Thief (of a particular area in the Barrens - can only be one of each)

Rank 4: (only rumours exist)

Rank 1: Student

Rank 2: Under-Professor (to a specific Professor)

Rank 3: Professor (of a subject)

Rank 4: Head of the Board of Education

Rank 1: ShaperCit

Rank 2: Shaper

Rank 3: Shaper
